Most people make Christmas the most important occasion of the year.
They prepare many weeks beforehand to organise to celebrate Christmas.
But is Christmas, the birth of Jesus, the most important occasion based on what is written in the Bible? It is nowhere recorded in the Bible that we must celebrate Christmas. Although it is not wrong to remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus. What is most important for us to remember and observe is rather the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As Jesus himself clearly stated in the King James Version Bible, Luke 22:19, And He took bread and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Jesus’ whole time on earth about 2000 years ago was clearly to save mankind from sin, by sacrificing His own life on the cross and being raised from the dead after 3 days. To me this is the most important occasion to celebrate every year. I wish you all a happy resurrection (easter) time. God bless you.
